Dont you want me babyyyy

TOKOPHOBIA

I asked a friend to model for me, and i took photos of their stomach. I then used photoshop to enlarge the stomach and make it look more rounded and 'pregnant'. I adjusted the colour variations and put a photo filter on the image.

At the beginning of this year i went to the Science Museum in London, there was an exhibition on called 'Who Am I?' Whilst i was there i took so many pictures. There was a small section about memory, so that was really useful for my collections project.. But whilst there i also took photographs of anything else i found interesting. There were these actual size models of babies at differernt stages during pregnancy. I wanted to use them in my work somewhere so this is the best time!
Whilst photoshopping the stomach, i used these photos of the babies to create a sort of basic xray/scan of the baby in the stomach. I played around with filters and colours. I quite like this effect- and i think if i learn how to do it properly(spend more time on it) it could look quite effective. I intend on doing a painting from one of these..
